Texting, the team way

Text messages with customers on numbers a whole team shares, and messages between colleagues. Built and in testing.

Customers text. They text the main number, they text the number on the truck, and they expect an answer from whoever is in. So Kahevo's text messaging is built around a number a team shares, not a number one person owns. It is built, and in testing.

One number, several people

A customer texts a number and everyone on that number sees the conversation. Whoever replies, the customer sees the same number. Colleagues see who wrote each reply.

  • Take a conversation, hand it to a colleague, or mark it done. A new text from the customer opens it again.
  • Leave a note on it. Notes are for colleagues only and are never sent.
  • Unread is your own. What you have read does not hide it from anyone else.

Between colleagues

The same page carries messages between the people in your office: one to one, or in a group you can add people to and leave. React with an emoji. None of it leaves your server.

Care with what strangers send

Anybody can text a business number, so Kahevo is careful.

What arrivesWhat Kahevo does
A pictureDraws it afresh, which leaves behind where it was taken and anything hidden in the file
A fileJudges it by what it really is, not its name, and keeps only the kinds you accept
A linkShows where it truly leads before it opens

Nothing is scanned for viruses. The page says so, and so do we.

Pictures with a pen

Open a picture, circle the part that matters, add an arrow and a few words, and send it back. Every step can be undone.

Wherever you are

A notice on the page, a notification on your iPhone, or an email if you are away from both. A number can answer by itself when the office is closed.

The honest part

It is in testing. It has not yet carried a real customer's text on a live number, and a US number has to be registered with the carriers at your provider before texts are delivered. We will say when that changes.
